About Hannah Joy
I do the makeup jobs. Now I teach them.
I’m Hannah. About ten years of makeup and cosplay, from full character transformations to editorial beauty, then onto real sets: campaign work for major brands and looks for artist collaborations with Doja Cat and Machine Gun Kelly. The academy is where I teach all of it, in structured courses, real job breakdowns, and a studio where your work gets honest notes.

“I don’t just show you the finished look. I teach you the two hours where nothingwas working, because that is where the skill lives.”
Hannah Joy

The long way
Nothing here happened quickly. Cosplay taught me structure. Prosthetics, edges, the discipline of a look that has to survive a whole convention floor.
Editorial taught me restraint, and set work taught me speed under pressure. Every job I take sharpens something I can hand to you. In the academy I teach the whole process, decision by decision, not just the finished photo.
A short history
Ten years, four turns.
2016
The first floor
First cosplay build, first convention floor, first look that fell apart by noon.
2019
Into editorial
I moved from cosplay makeup into editorial beauty. Cleaner lines, higher stakes.
2022
Onto real sets
Brand campaigns and artist collaborations, including looks for Doja Cat and Machine Gun Kelly projects. The jobs that taught me the most.
2026
The academy opens
I turned everything those jobs taught me into structured courses with certificates, real job breakdowns, and a student studio, for $19.99 a month.
